Our Gifted Program is a resource opportunity for Gifted students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades to meet with the Gifted Resource Teacher, one day per week, from 8:30 A.M.-2:00 P.M. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each week.

Speech Students will meet with the Speech Pathologist during 6th period (2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.) on Wednesdays.

Arrival/Dismissal

Students are to arrive at school by 8:10 AM and to be picked up after dismissal at 3:00 PM promptly. There is no supervision provided for students before 7:50 AM or after 3:00 PM.

The student drop-off and pick-up area is on Northwest Second Avenue by Portable 9 ONLY (Refer To Map).   Please do not drop students or pick students up in the staff/visitor parking lot.  This creates an unsafe situation.

Our optional supervised breakfast program begins at 7:50 A.M. and ends at 8:10 A.M.  After breakfast, the students are to leave the cafeteria and go directly to their assigned homerooms.  The teachers will meet their classes promptly at 8:15 A.M.  Students must be at school by 8:15 and must be seated in their homerooms by 8:20 A.M. for opening exercises, including the Pledge of Allegiance.  Any student arriving to his/her classroom after 8:20 A.M. will be sent to the office and marked tardy.  Excessive tardies to homeroom may result the student being exited from our school.

Students are dismissed daily at 3:00 P.M. Students may not cross the street to be picked-up or dropped off.   This is a safety hazard, as we do not have a crossing guard for our school.
